DOCTORS
DR. BIEN LE, MD, MIMS, FRACGP
Dr. Bien Le graduated from Medical School in 1991. He was a certified ophthalmologist in Vietnam.
In Australia Dr. Le passed the licensing exam from AMC (Australian Medical Council) in 2005 and is a Fellow of the RACGP (Royal Australian College of General Practitioner) from 2014.
Dr. Le has special interest in chronic disease management (diabetes, osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, viral hepatitis,...), elderly patients, and children with autistic spectrum disorder & other developmental conditions.
Dr. Le accepts private patients, performs cervical screening test (previously known as PAP test), insertion and removal of contraceptive implants (Implanon), other minor surgeries, cryotherapy treatment for warts & skin lesions, and cauterisation for recurrent nose bleedings,
Dr. Le also holds a Master’s Degree in Information Management System from Monash University (MIMS)
DR. MINH KHOA LUU, MD, AMC
Dr. Minh Khoa Luu graduated from Saigon Medical School in 1977. He has been practicing as a General Practitioner in St Albans since 1991.
Before that Dr. Luu worked at Le Loi Hospital in Vung Tau, Vietnam, in refugee camps in Malaysia, and at The Preston & Northcote Community Hospital.
Dr. Luu is a very experienced GP with special interest in paediatrics and minor surgeries.
DR. LAM NGUYEN, FACRRM, SCHP, MD, PGDipTeach (Secondary), BSc Melb
Dr. Lam Nguyen is a fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, with recognition as rural generalist with advanced skills in paediatrics. Prior to that, he completed all of his studies at the University of Melbourne.
He has been and is currently working in rural Victoria, providing both office consulting and emergency and hospital care, as well as secondary supervision of junior doctors and general practice registrars.
In 2024, he decided to join Main Road Medical part-time due to unmet needs by local patients who only speak Vietnamese. He speaks both Vietnamese and English.
DR. KIM TRAN, MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Kim Tran is a male GP for more than 10 years. Dr Kim was an examiner for the Royal College of General Practitioners.
Special interests include general family health and chronic disease management of conditions such as asthma, emphysema, heart disease and diabetes.
Dr Kim speaks English and Vietnamese. He loves to spend time with his family. He has an interest in IT and is a keen sports fan.
PSYCHOLOGIST
MS. NHU NGUYEN
Nhu Nguyen is a registered Psychologist (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Her formal qualifications include a Graduate Diploma of Psychology, Certificate IV in Disability and a Master of Professional Psychology.
Nhu has practical experience in group and individual therapy in a range of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She has practised in clinical, non-clinical, inpatient, outpatient, educational and community settings.
Nhu provides treatment to children, adolescents, adults and NDIS participants. She has experience working with individuals with culturally and socially diverse backgrounds, who have experienced trauma, anxiety, mood related concerns and neurodiverse presentations. She incorporates a person-centred approach in which she collaboratively works with clients to promote choice and autonomy in the therapeutic process.
PSYCHOTHERAPIST, COUNSELLOR, AND SPIRITUAL CARE PRACTITIONER
MS. PHUONG TRAN
Phuong is a Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Spiritual Care Practitioner practicing in both Australia and Vietnam. She holds a level 3 membership with the Australian Counselling Association and is a certified Spiritual Care Practitioner accredited by the Spiritual Care Australia Association. Currently, she serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Psychological and Educational Scientific Association in Ho Chi Minh City and is also a member of the Vietnam Psychotherapy Association.
Phuong provides tailored guidance for a diverse range of challenges and concerns, ensuring your journey towards hope, healing, happiness, and personal growth is supported. She specializes in a broad spectrum of concerns, including loss and grief, troubled relationships, depression and anxiety, panic disorder and stress, life dissatisfaction and crises, trauma and self-esteem, insomnia, work stress, self-harm and suicide, terminal illness and end-of-life, chronic diseases, LGBTIQA+ community’s mental health challenges, and more.

Marie Huynh is an experienced, approachable, and interpersonal-savvy professional with 10 years of delivering gentle and client-focused nutrition and dietetic services across the aged care, health, wellness and fitness industries.
